Description
Discrete-Events and Agent-Based simulations with AnyLogic. This course teaches simulation of complex systems using discrete-event and agent-based methods in AnyLogic software along with basic concepts of Java language. This course is designed for people who have little or no knowledge of Java programming language and simulation modeling. It is also very useful for professionals who have previously used other simulation software and now want to learn how to work with a new tool from scratch. In this course, the method of developing simulation models using AnyLogic based on discrete-event, agent-based patterns and combinations of both in the form of multi-method simulations is taught. Most of the tools required for modeling advanced scenarios to solve complex business problems are covered in this course. After the introduction to Java, the course progresses at a faster pace and with more depth, and tasks that are not easy to solve are presented; this approach is designed to strengthen analytical skills and accelerate the learning process. This training also provides basic Java principles so that learners can reach a suitable level of self-sufficiency as developers. In addition, topics such as databases with the SQL API, working with the Excel API, geographic information system (GIS) integration, and other capabilities of the powerful AnyLogic software for creating 3D animation models and displaying data with various charts are taught. In the end, participants will be able to simulate complex systems in industries such as warehousing, supply chain, and manufacturing, and convert logical structures into 3D animations.
What you will learn
- Mastery of the AnyLogic simulation software environment and its model development tools.
- Design and implementation of discrete event simulations.
- Developing agent-based modeling to examine behaviors and interactions.
