MCP Apps with Claude Code: Build an Interactive Analytics Dashboard is a course on building interactive data applications using Model Context Protocol (MCP) Apps and Claude Code, published by LinkedIn Online Academy. MCP Apps allow tools to return interactive interfaces such as dashboards, charts, and forms directly into compatible AI hosts, rather than just returning text, and open up a range of AI-connected applications that go beyond simple conversational output. Throughout the course, learners will build a complete analytics solution, starting with the underlying data layer. This includes setting up a Python data layer capable of feeding real data into the application, before building an MCP server that exposes this data and functionality to a compatible AI host in a structured and controlled manner. The course also covers drill-down analysis, allowing users to drill down from a summary view to more detailed data within the same interactive interface. By the end of the course, learners will have built a functional and secure analytics dashboard that demonstrates how MCP Apps can transform an AI host into a true interactive app platform.
