Creating a hexagonal grid:

• Using the Grid Component in Unity, you will create a hexagonal grid. (much easier than building your own system)

Creating a hexagonal grid procedurally:

• After fully understanding how the hexagonal grid works, let’s move on to the basics of creating a hexagonal grid procedurally.
• The goal is to create a symmetrical hexagonal grid that can then be edited to create steps.

Create steps:

• You will learn how to create steps in a fast way

Create and control hexagonal stacks:

• After creating the mesh, we move on to create and control the hexagonal stacks
• Placing stacks on the grid and merging them:
• You’ll learn how to place stacks on the grid and merge them when it makes sense

Merging Mechanics:

• The most complex part of the system is the merge mechanic,
  we have to iterate over every cell that was updated in the previous merge.
