Version 12.0 & 12.1 & 12.2 + 14.0 installation tips:
Perform the installation steps exactly in the order of the Readme file; The server must be installed and ready before installing the software.
Use the cracked dll file version 11 to install versions 12.
Installing and activating this program is very time consuming, so do it at the right time.
If the installation screen remains stationary (more than a few minutes), a window will open behind the installation window that can be viewed by dragging the installation window; Just ok it to continue the installation.
As mentioned bellow, version 12.1 only includes some updated software and does not include all software.
The licenses in this collection, despite being numerous, do not cover all software (for example, the Aspen PIMS program can’t be used)
Versions 8.8.2, 9.1, 10.1, 11.1 & 12.1 include an upgraded version of some of the software in the suite and do not include all software.
Version 2023 v14.01 has been installed and successfully activated on Windows 10 64-bit edition on March 30, 2023.
Version 14.0 was installed and successfully activated on Windows 10 64-bit edition on March 5, 2025.

I have Downloaded Aspen Suite 14.5 Feature Pack. I have finished installation step and reboot the device. but when I try to start ASPEN PLUS or any ASPEN software it ask me to login because this message appeared “Unable to check-out licences for ASPEN PLUS”.
In the video at “09:24” I don’t have this file folder “STRGXI2” under CRACK file. I couldn’t complete this step.
Can please tell me what step I have done wrong or how to solve this issue?

I tried installing “AspenTech aspenONE Engineering Suite 14.0”. I followed every step properly.
1. I turned wifi off.
2. Installed sentinel
3. Created de system variable LSHOST
4. Added de licence. It took several minutes like said, and I got the success message
Finally, I installed AspenONE with no apparent problem. However, when I try to open any of it’s programs (EDR or HYSYS) I get the following error:
“Error while checking out license HYSYS_Process”. In the “sequence of events” message, I get:

It was tested and crack works. uninstall any aspen version completely. after installing the license, check if the licenses under subnet servers => you computer name. see if all the licensees are there. turn off you anti virus and replace the crack file base on you system. ( use v11 crack file )

There is a separate link for version 14 crack.(ignore the 12 folder name). you should download all parts and extract them with winrar. feature packs are self explanatory. there are new features that you can install. there some pdf file in the package that you can read

Thanks for the software guys. Just a comment, I have installed Aspen Technology aspenONE Engineering Suite v14.2 x64 but the license did not work. I did exactly what is written in the readme file. The solution I found was to create a new environment variable named HSHOST. Once I did that, the software worked properly. I think this step should be written in the readme file. When modeling processes in HYSYS (12 and 14), calculation on a random element of the model is periodically stopped. The calculation takes place further when the streams are disconnected and reconnected, or the data in the input stream is changed several times. What could it be? As if some additional program in Windows is missing.

Aspen EDR Solution-Database Restore ( Main_2014.mdf) for Customized Files.
Restore the database files to below location when prompted. ( It will solve problem 99% of the time)
C:\ProgramData\AspenTech\Aspen Exchanger Design and Rating V14.0
If this does not work then, Install SQL Server Management Studio 2019. ( Refer Internet for more details on How to do it)
Attach Database Main_2014 & UOM to it , ( Refer Internet for more details on How to do it )
Add database MAIN_2014 to Aspen Database via Aspen database Manager ( Under Aspen Property, Take Help by clicking help button from Aspen Properties when needed on registering database , this may require one to create SQL username & password like apeduser# etc.)

While installing aspen 14, it seems to be activated but I am getting “failed to restore database” and “none of the APED database is accessible” error. I tried using database tester for LocalDB restore Aspen Properties databases, but it fails to restore databases. Please suggest what to do. I am using windows 11.
Hello, I managed to fully install aspen, but when I open the software and try to use the toolbar, the application closes automatically. I’ve tried using versions 10, 11 and 14, they all had the same problem. In general the app is working, but if I try to use the toolbar, even using keyboard shortcuts, it just closes. Hello, great job and great software. I’ve been using V11 succesfully with the most features. Everything works well except the heat exchanger auto size feature on rigorous design. In many tutorial when clicking auto size it will import data in EDR and switch to EDR directly. In my case it gives me the error “EDR RIGOROUS CALCULATION FAILED TO FIND AN ACCEPTABLE EXCHANGER DESIGN. ATTEMPTING TO REVERT BACK TO SIMPLE MODEL”. If i choose the interactive autosize option it doesn’t import the process data from the simple model and doesn’t allow me to fill the flowrate manually (is set =0 and cannot change it). But if i open a new case in EDR and insert manually all the parameters it works well. Is it due to the cracked version? Any help?

I got the same error many years ago. the problem is about de DOT AND COMMA. due to hysys and EDR send information between then. so you should configure your windows to DOT like decimal indicators and comma like thousands indicators.

I had to extract the .rar files with winrar so every .rar file is extracted in only two folders automatically.

It seems to be an installation problem rather than license. Try removing license using Subnet Servers -> Remove all features. then reinstall license. if it doesn’t work, try a clean reinstall of software itself.

we’ve tested Aspen Plus V10 & it’s running fine (as well as Aspen HYSYS)
consider removing all licenses through WlmAdmin (Crack folder) -> expanding Subnet servers -> expanding your pc name -> right click on pc name -> remove all features (make sure all sub expanded features are removed). then reinstall license as said in readme. you can also try crack included in v12 pack (can be downloaded seperatly) as it claims support for V10 (untested by us though)

Thanks for sharing the software. I was successful in getting V12.0 to run properly. However, when I restart my computer I have to run the WlmAdmin step again to re-license the software, which takes around 20 minutes. Oddly enough this occurs only when I restart my computer, and not when it gets shutdown and turned back on. I was curious if anyone else had similar issues and if there is solution to this problem?
this is probably happening due to “Sentinel RMS License Manager” service doesn’t start automatically with windows after a restart. so after restart, open services, check that “Sentinel RMS License Manager” is running, if not, start it manually then right click -> properties -> set startup to automatic
also check for “Sentinel LDK License Manager” if available
removing sentinel rms server & reinstalling it can fix problem too

I have a license problem with aspen hysys.
After 6 months from installing the program and it was working correctly ,it says now
” LICENSE CHECKOUT FAILED , Unable to start Aspen Hysys ”
So I tried to reinstall it again and still the same problem.
So I tried to install V12.1 with the video steps and still the same problem with the same error message.
So what can I do ?
Copy v11 license into both program files and x86 common folder. Then it will work.
Don’t have to reinstall since all the license has already been uploaded into your PC.
Whenever you reinstall newer version of Hysys, you don’t have to go through the subnet again as well.

Did you get EDR working from any version?
I can only see EDR for version 12. It is a little bit troublesome.
This is what I have done. I installed EDR version 12 first.
And then install Hysys 12.1. When you run Hysys 12.1, you will be able to run EDR but based on version 12.
When I runned Aspen hysys program, most of them are working fine.
Bur the recycle function didn’t calculate properly. What’s the problem?
